Concert Review: Bad Gyal at The Fillmore Miami Beach

Review & Photos by Giselle Forero

Bad Gyal kicked off her Miami show at The Fillmore Miami Beach with her latest release, “Un Coro Y Ya :),” bringing electrifying energy to the stage from the very first moment. The Spanish artist from Barcelona has made a name for herself with her distinctive sound, bold aesthetic, and early 2000s-inspired style, blending reggaeton and urban influences into a sound that is uniquely her own. Dressed in a vibrant green outfit with a pink veil draped over her eyes, styled like an oversized bow, she delivered a visually captivating performance alongside an incredible group of dancers. The choreography, visuals, and stage production added another layer to the show, keeping the energy high throughout the night. She treated fans to some of her classic hits, including “Te Dare,” “Perdio Este Culo,” and “Fa$hion Killa,” giving the audience a lot of moments to sing and dance along. Her stage presence kept the crowd captivated, making every moment of the performance an amazing reflection of her unique sound and identity.

One of the night's biggest surprises was the appearance of reggaeton legend Jay Alvarez, who joined Bad Gyal on stage to perform “La Iniciativa.” For any old school reggaeton fan, this was a special moment and a highlight of the evening! Jay also took the opportunity to perform his hit “La Pregunta,” making the crowd go wild as fans sang along to every word. This collaboration added an extra layer of excitement to an already incredible night. Bad Gyal closed out the show with “Fiebre,” which happens to be my personal favorite and brings back so many memories of when I first discovered her discography. Hearing it live made the moment even more special and was the perfect way to wrap up the night. From the music and visuals to the surprise guest appearance, Bad Gyal delivered an unforgettable performance. It was an incredible show from start to finish, and I can't wait to welcome Bad Gyal back to Miami!
